Flat pricing, per connected WhatsApp number
You pay for the numbers you link, not for the messages they send. There is no per-message fee, no per-conversation window and nothing that gets more expensive because your customers reply — the same call costs the same whether you send ten a day or ten thousand.

- One invoice for every channel instead of one per subscription
- A named contact for incidents, and early access to the partner API
Premium starts with a 5-day free trial on the first paid channel on your account. The trial is granted once per user, not once per channel: the second number you upgrade is charged from the day you upgrade it. You give a card to start the trial, nothing is taken until it ends, and cancelling before the last day costs nothing.
What each plan includes
Both plans run on the same infrastructure and expose the same REST API — groups, communities, WhatsApp Channels, status, polls, presence and contacts are on the free plan too. What changes between them is how much you may send, how large your media can be and how quickly support answers.
| Limit | Sandbox | Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Channels One channel is one linked WhatsApp number. Premium is billed per channel. | 1 | Unlimited |
| Messages sent per day Counted per channel, resets at 00:00 UTC. Messages you receive are never counted. | 150 messages | Unlimited |
| Number checks per day Every number submitted to /contacts/check counts, whether or not it is on WhatsApp. | 30 number checks | 2,000 number checks |
| API requests per month Every authenticated call, including reads. Rejected calls do not count. | 1,000 | Unlimited |
| Webhook endpoints Each endpoint receives the full event stream, or the events you filter it to. | 2 | 5 |

| Dedicated proxy Route a channel through your own egress IP instead of the shared one. | Not available | Optional |
| Support Both plans get the same people. Premium goes to the front of the queue. | Standard | Priority |
| Free trial One trial per account, on the first channel you upgrade. | Free forever, no trial needed | 5 days |
How the bill is worked out
Each paid channel is its own Stripe subscription, charged $24 a month or $19 a month when you pay for the year. Adding a channel mid-period is prorated by Stripe, removing one credits the rest of the period, and the free Sandbox channel every account gets is never billed.
What the price does not buy
Wapito drives WhatsApp over the same protocol the phone app uses rather than Meta's official Cloud API. No plan, and no provider, can promise WhatsApp will not restrict a number that behaves like a bot — so the money buys quota and support, not immunity. Read what actually gets numbers banned before you plan a campaign.
Billing questions
What exactly counts as a channel?
A channel is one WhatsApp phone number linked to Wapito, with its own Bearer token, its own webhooks and its own quotas. Premium is billed per channel per month, so two numbers are two subscriptions and cancelling one leaves the other running. Switching a channel from one number to another does not create a second channel: you log the old number out, link the new one, and the subscription follows the channel.
What happens when I hit the Sandbox limits?
The call is rejected with a 429 and an error code naming the quota you ran into — 150 messages a day, 30 number checks a day or 1,000 API requests a month. Nothing is queued behind your back and nothing is charged automatically. The daily counters reset at 00:00 UTC, the monthly one on the first of the month, and upgrading the channel to Premium lifts them immediately without relinking the number.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel a channel from the billing portal in the dashboard and it stays on Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drops back to the free plan — the number stays linked and the token keeps working under the smaller quotas. There is no minimum term, no cancellation fee and no need to email anybody. Deleting the channel instead ends the subscription and unlinks the number straight away.
Do the prices include tax, and how do I get invoices?
Prices are in US dollars and exclusive of VAT, GST and sales tax. Stripe collects whatever tax applies where you are at checkout, and a business customer can enter a VAT or tax id there so it appears on the invoice. Every invoice, including the $24 monthly ones, is issued by Stripe, emailed to the billing address on the account, and available to download at any time from the billing portal.
Do you offer refunds?
The 5-day trial exists so you can find out whether Wapito works for your integration before you are charged anything. After that, a charge for a period you have started is not automatically refunded — but if the service was broken, or a channel was unusable for a stretch of the period, write to support and we will refund that period. The refund terms are set out in the Terms of Service.
